This corrects "The role of bacteriophages transferring virulence factors to Escherichia coli species." Adv. Life Sci. 2023 Mar;10(1):17–21. doi: 10.62940/als.v10i1.1481.

Following the publication of this article, an internal audit — conducted in response to quality concerns raised by Web of Science — identified inaccuracies in the article's metadata as well as problems in the use of the English language in the originally published version. The necessary corrections have since been carried out, and the Editorial Expression of Concern issued on 20 June 2025 has accordingly been withdrawn.
